The Importance of Relevance

The importance of being taught relevance is so incredibly important while receiving an education. We cannot continue to teach students that grades and test scores are the most important thing and the end goal of education. Students will never become motivated and self-directed learners if they are not shown the relevance to what they are learning and the importance of receiving an excellent education. Students need to know how information they are learning is applicable to their lives.
